Pump.fun (PUMP) Rises 4.03% in One Hour to $0.004565 | TokenPost
Pump.fun’s PUMP token climbed 4.03% within one hour, reaching $0.004565 at 6:16 p.m. ET on Monday, October 19. The advance pushed its gain over the preceding 24 hours to 12.88%.
The token had traded at approximately $0.004388 an hour earlier, according to PUMP/USDT spot-market data. The hourly and daily percentage changes were calculated using price snapshots taken at the end of their respective periods.
The rapid move also triggered about $60,000 in short-position liquidations across Binance, Bybit and OKX. No long liquidations were recorded on those exchanges during the same one-hour window. These figures cover only the period surrounding the price increase, not the full 24-hour trading session.
At the time of the snapshot, PUMP’s market capitalization stood at roughly $2.03 billion, placing it 49th among cryptocurrency assets by market value.
The price increase and liquidation data represent separate indicators of market activity. Together, they suggest that PUMP’s sudden upward momentum forced some traders betting on a decline to close leveraged positions.
